No, we haven't taken the tree down yet. It's kind of cheering me up during the cold spell. Yes, if you look closely, you will see that the tree is set tastefully atop a moving blanket. Thanks for asking.

I know what you mean about wanting to keep the tree. To me January is the most depressing month of the year--so cold and cheerless. I don't understand why the first of January, so many cities take down the decorations. When I used to live in Seattle, they left them up for a while longer--it helped with that feeling of winter gloom.
